Middle Gate Cottonwood: This massive riverbank tree is the largest cottonwood found in the Armstrong Point neighborhood to date, and is sure to be one of the largest trees in Winnipeg, with a trunk circumference of 585 cm, and a canopy spread of 31 m. The tree appears to be in excellent health and is well-known within the arborist community in Winnipeg, as well as local residents. Nominated by Winnipeg arborist, C. Greisman. |
